I was constantly picking up new bands and genres (and still do) starting with emo/screamo/punk/alt. Then getting some modern and prog metal, Folk, EDM, lofi and about everything in between. Pretty much the only thing I didn’t/don’t listen to is country. Some bluegrass is cool, some western is ok too but pop country for the most part sucks imo.
