MailChimp has always been a horrible company.
I use MailerLite, it's vastly superior and not horrible.
I think it's unlikely they'll go AI, IMO, mostly because they aren't owned by any huge corporation.

While kinda true, there's a vast difference between trying to locate and read specific physical letters manually (among millions) - and software scanning server data.
On other systems it is a given that DMs are at least stored encrypted - Mastodon's private messages are plain text therefore literally no effort would be required to process them.
However that still requires access to the servers since data-in-transit is encrypted even if data-at-rest isn't.
It's an approach. 🙃
Indeed.
Just finished "Wolf's Quest" BTW - I really liked it.

Read the article.
If you read the article you'd know that wasn't true.
Campbell's approach is sexist and racist.
The summary is interesting: Hero's Journey is just a set of tropes which may or may not appear in a story (even the ones he uses as examples).

Admittedly it's a very long article (and personally I would have structured it differently) but essentially Campbell's approach is sexist and racist.
The summary is interesting: it's just a set of tropes which may or may not appear in a story.
Controversial Opinion: I don't use Hero's Journey.
I did in my first book but quickly decided it was far too restrictive and not actually that useful.
The fact it has infected almost all storytelling is quite troubling, IMO.
Turns out Campbell's monomyth idea is not even close to be being correct.
From the linked article:
"academic folklorists and scholars of ancient literature almost universally reject Campbell’s theories as nonsense"
