It begins. 😱

My son is starting to read science fiction. So far, he read Solaris, The War of the Worlds, Brave New World, and now 1984.
What are other great #scifi novels that are (maybe even better) suited for a young teenager?
@pfefferle MacRumors uses the name attribute only and I don’t see any bylines on their account yet… 🤔
@pfefferle 🎉 Does it need the property attribute to work correctly? The blog post only mentions the name attribute, but I see you and The Verge using property="fediverse:creator"…?

@nhoizey Cool, thanks a lot for reporting this issue, Nicolas! And @buttondown for the quick fix 👏
@nhoizey 🧐 No, that’s not on purpose! Just checked and it works on my machine™ (iOS Safari 17.2.1).
Does the direct link work? https://buttondown.email/ownyourweb/archive/issue-10/
The archive is still (aside from the styling on top) coming from @buttondown, so that’s probably something that could be fixed on their side…? Maybe a routing issue? 🤔

Also, look at those ocean temperatures.
“The world just experienced its warmest January on record, marking the first 12-month period in which temperatures averaged more than 1.5C (2.7F) above pre-industrial times.”
I urge you to talk to everyone around you and ask them to vote for people who take climate action seriously.
Damn, Berlin!! 😍❤️

You‘ll tell me when my obsession with cable management is getting out of hand, right? 🤓
@mauricerenck The mount costs around 15–20 €. And for the USB hubs, I’m using Velcro tape. Worked really well well overall and if you don’t need to plug stuff in and out that often, it’s a great way to save some space on the desk. 😊
