I was planning on watching Killers Of The Flower Moon but it's $19.99 to rent for 48 hours. WTF? And I thought $5.99 for Oppenheimer was too much.

I almost always agree with you. In this, I don't. When they're using their fake users, bots, etc their algorithms to push their agenda (money and genocide) into a smaller world, they'll ruin the small world. No two ways about it.

My server has blocked threads because of major privacy issues. So, for the moment, I'm good

But why should people have to work so hard at this? They allow horrible shit, like Nazi and Nazi organizing. If they were any other server allowing that, they would be defederated

I'm not going to pretend to understand as I have no knowledge about coding, how they intrude everywhere. But my server isn't the only one doing it for privacy reasons

I would assume if you interact with someone who has all kinds of tracking stuff on their server, you're giving up your privacy by doing so. Just like clicking on a link article in rolling stone or using Google or Microsoft, you gave up your rights to privacy everywhere on your computer with no recourse

I never claimed to have knowledge of how that works. I said my server is blocking them because of it. So I can say that.

I'm curious why you're pushing so hard for a billion dollar corporation to be federated when we know what they do, we know they don't moderate, we know they're not federating for our sake or their user's sake.

That's something I disagree with on some level. Look what factories did to the environment without any regulations. What banks do even with some regulations. My problem with no regulations on sex work would be things like the McSex where corporations are forcing 10 blowjobs an hour etc

In a perfect world, sex workers would work for themselves. But in the real world, no matter what you're selling, taking the business part out, advertising, marketing, accounting, etc., you have more time for the work and can usually get more.

Look at caretakers. Get a babysitter on an app from a company that holds the insurance
