The right keep posting all the "terrible" things that would happen with socialism, and I always wonder if they dislike it so much, why do they keep advertising it:
Affordable healthcare
Affordable child care
Rent controls
Functional public transport
An actual livable minimum wage

I don't often boost every post in a thread. But I did this one.

An element that horrifies me, is the failure of Congress to act, and yes, I mean Mike Johnson. Yes, that Mike Johnson.

If he is not going to pull the US out of this position of being the overt bad guys, then the rest of Congress needs to deal with the Mike Johnson, problem.

Time to apply consequences to the people who are not performing their constitutional duties as counterweights within the balance of powers.

The bit I am finding impossible to adjust to, is the blithe media reporting, as if this were a sports even and Trump's behaviors are acceptable, analyzing them for their strong and weak points. No one stating, "this is illegal, Trump has added war criminal to his perversity record".
