   Meanwhile we already have two deaths, one child, one adult, which for less than 200 known cases is extremely outside the old statistic of 1 death per 1000 cases.

   So, we either have far more cases than are being reported, or the virus in this outbreak is more virulent than historic measles, at least to this population.

   This where I normally read what the CDC has to say, but they are back to researching the already thoroughly debunked measles vaccine implications in autism.

   Ffmpeg likes to have lots of cores for transcoding, which is why I want more of them. But there is a thermal constraint with this case, but the case is chosen due to space constraint.

   I can deal with having less cores because I can setup render servers on the other two cases.

   So it's really a question of 24 cores that don't thermal throttle, or 48 cores that most likely do.

   The most insidious thing about racism on Mastodon is how it is done in such a way that the majority-white user base never sees it. I don't think that it's simply a matter of white people not seeing what they don't want to see - at least in the vast majority of cases.

   So when a non-white person discusses the racism they see as a user of Mastodon, it must feel like gaslighting when white people respond with "What do you mean? I've not seen anything like that here."
