    @IAMAL_PHARIUS A dollar in 2005 is worth about $1.62 today by official numbers. Oil, on the other hand, has been in generally the same range since about 2005. Why would oil be cheaper today than it was two decades ago? 🤷

    @IAMAL_PHARIUS @white_male From a tech side rather than a market side, it would sure suck if SMC went under. There aren't many server chassis manufacturers and especially aren't many that don't *completely* suck while still being fairly inexpensive

    @RustyCrab So many restaurants are going for the cheapest shit-tier food now so they don't have to raise their prices more than they already have,; it's probably healthier to make your own food anyways (now even more than a few years ago)
