Interesting Switch 2 tidbits.

If you aren't a Nintendo Online subscriber, to upgrade your copies of either Zelda titles, will cost you just $9.99 a piece.
The Switch 2 Welcome Tour, a title which walks you around your new console and highlights how it works, will also be $9.99. That feels weird because it really looks like something that should come with the Switch 2 for free. I mean, Sony gives all PS5 owners Astrobot to showcase the system. (Different to the game released in September '24)

The reviews are starting to come in for Netflix's latest sci-fi film The Electric State. A bit of trivia, the budget apparently came out as $320m. 😮

Anyway, apparently, the story has been toned down from the original book to be more family friendly.

The two reviews I've skimmed so far basically say, pretty to look at but ultimately a boring film with nothing new.

So Switch 2, larger and more powerful, obviously. Will I get one? (This is where I go old and bitter 😂) If it's just the same legacy games again with a single number increment (Mario Kart 9, Mario Party 11?, Links Next Big Adventure) and a load of JRPGs, probably not.

If it's backwards compatible with original Switch games, I wonder if they will allow the better hardware to improve performance.

Anyway, April 4th is quite a way of yet.

#theskeletoncrew continues to be very entertaining. I know I keep referencing the Goonies because that's the general vibe, especially episode 5 to 6, but it also had one scene that felt incredibly ET-y as well.

With just one episode left (assuming it's an eight episode run), I really hope the last episode can pull off the story climax.

I have a crazy theory about Jude Law's character and if it's that, I'll be disappointed.

Jude Law's character is really a nice Jedi who's been tasked with testing out the security for the mint/planet.

I can't see how else it pans out unless he really is a pirate but it's the force powers that sway me to my theory.

Aaannnd Star Wars: Skeleton Crew hits a bump with episode 4. The filler/plot ratio was way off on this one with the episode only becoming really interesting in the final five minutes.

Hopefully, normality will return in the next episode.

In regards to Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, I've read one review and watched another. By all accounts, this will be a great Indiana Jones game. As always with a franchise I love, I'm quite excited right now. I can't believe it was announced almost four years ago!
