@thomasfuchs I got suckered into his "Shroud of the Avatar" Kickstarter a decade ago. What a fiasco that was. I have no respect for that main despite the Ultima games being so formative in my youth.

@thomasfuchs It can be hard for people not plugged into social networks to know who the shitheads are. When I think about people like my wife or my step-father, both people who have the potential ability to blog, and read other people's blogs, neither would have any clue about the Substack drama and would only have a vague notion of what Substack is.

It's so easy to imagine them deciding to blog, googling for blogging platforms, and landing on Substack, as you say, completely oblivious.
