@WarnerCrocker A teacher friend of mine got a ChatGPT written assignment as soon as ChatGPT became public, but not widely known. It was obvious; circular rephrasing of the questions, nothing new added, empty platitudes.

She rephrased asked her questions to be more pointed as to her expectations and had him redo the assignment without coming right out and accusing him.

Companies and users have to deal with password issues much much more than the nosy need access often for nefarious rather than legitimate purposes.

@WarnerCrocker The times I have been forced ‘by surprise’ (every time) to do two factor authentication, it is not anything I would volunteer for.

It can be from using families VPN for security reasons, to some well meaning IT guy wanting to make something more secure which is tough if they are one of the 2 factors you can provide. Off my primary email, my second factor, for 2 wks

And some insist on it for data mining purposes. Your authentication has fingerprinted you in a trackable way

@WarnerCrocker I think it must get its name ‘walking pneumonia’ from the fact it can hit so quickly and strongly you can recall the step you were taking when things went south. I tried to keep up with plans for a few more hours before I collapsed.

@WarnerCrocker please take care. I collapsed on stage as a musician and was out of it for a week or more . I recall NOTHING beyond drinking orange juice and going to the bathroom, and had pleurisy for some time after. I was out of town and was lucky to be under the care of close friends.
