I first saw them on juice cartons, which were already using so much plastic rather than wax or glue that you practically could not open them the old ‘fold out a spout’ way.

@WarnerCrocker I think it must get its name ‘walking pneumonia’ from the fact it can hit so quickly and strongly you can recall the step you were taking when things went south. I tried to keep up with plans for a few more hours before I collapsed.

@WarnerCrocker please take care. I collapsed on stage as a musician and was out of it for a week or more . I recall NOTHING beyond drinking orange juice and going to the bathroom, and had pleurisy for some time after. I was out of town and was lucky to be under the care of close friends.

Perhaps the cheapest distribution route when they can’t rent them to other streamers and decide not to use them themselves.

Facets is a non-profit distributor mostly, that has apparently been closed for long periods the past few years but still an entity.

The walk in retail media store front they once had, I’m not sure if that has been around lately at all, and was what I was asking info about, from current area natives.

Keep in mind last I heard of Facets VHS was the only option and Blockbuster was still a major concern for rental or buying. Mid 90s.

If you have questions and call, it is the fastest way to pull up records of the order and tracking. A 10 digit phone number is easier to understand over voice lines that a 32 digit alphanumeric tracking number the customer usually doesn’t have

@WarnerCrocker I think it’s an extremely walkable city, (to a degree), but I know my own car doesn’t even like speeds below 35 much.
