I don't understand what difference it technically makes to block before suspend, can you explain please?

On the #fediverse, instead of blocking people, I prefer to suspend them at the instance level.

On a single user instance, it saves data in the database and stored media weight! 😋

Hot take: the more I think about it, the more I understand that I only find interest in the #Fediverse and #Mastodon by hosting my own instance.

When I imagine shut down this instance and migrating my account to someone else's instance, I already have no desire to use Fediverse at all.
