We have the luxury of three #breakfast places within a five minute walk.
One is a huge American breakfast chain we've never patronized. Another is a sports bar with a billion distracting TVs and a high potential for surly toddlers. The third is a frozen-in-time 1960s #greasySpoon with few tables and questionable hygiene, but cheap prices and a very good eggs-bacon-and-potatoes game.
We had the greasy-spoon for lunch this week, so it's the sports-bar place.
Which would you frequent?

@Gargron oh! Does that mean I can hide the image associated with a media card when people share a news-site link?
Getting tired of seeing you-know-who's face in my feed 'cuz it's always there to illustrate each of his crimes. A 'hide' for the image while being able to still read the headline would be great.
Eager to check out the new feature.

@HamonWry You get on here and you're just struttin' around, spewing your genial and compassionate verbiage and don't care who reads it.

The Ontario Place complex wouldn't see a threat of this magnitude again until a certain Doug Ford staggered onto the scene and trashed the place forty years later.

@WarnerCrocker aha - I was recently thinking of something similar – putting small printed post-it notes on them, but this is a better idea!

Get in losers, we're going voting!
Easy way for Ontarians to stop losing – let's replace this government.
Vote strategically, and avoid splitting the vote on the left/centre. Choose the most popular non-con in your riding.

It may have been ten minutes since you last heard someone encourage you to vote in #Ontario, so I'll pop in here and say I hope you make time to go vote today if you haven't already!
Yay! Last vestiges of #democracy for the win!

They're not doing a good job of suggesting multiple weeks between full moons. It seems rather like the moon goes full every few days.

Carla wears her hair *up* for a reason. She tucks a few mice in there occasionally too, no doubt.

Was trying to figure out what had triggered a nasty #migraine overnight that required twice as much medication as usual. I somehow forgot that I had a jaw full of dental freezing yesterday morning.
I hadn't known that dental work/freezing could be a trigger, but then again I almost never see a dentist, so I suppose I wouldn't know.
Any other #migraineurs find that to be the case? Some big weather swings in the last 25hrs too I suppose, which can be triggering.

A batch of #bread just into the oven. Bodes well for breakfast. Plenty of time before bed to wrap up the bake.

A little #3Dprinting project today - I pulled together this phone holder for the workshop.
I invariably put my phone down somewhere and forget about it then have to hunt around for it later. This lets me keep it visible, supports charging while in situ, and keeps the charger cable handy.
Will share it for your printing enjoyment on #Printables when I get a chance.

@bobjonkman indeed. Hard to know these days, esp if new. But being from a thrift store I assume it's likely been years, maybe decades since it was made, and it had a life with someone already. Possibly made before low-cost CNCs arrived.
Also a high probability those sorts of crafts were carved by poor artisans somewhere in South Asia or Africa to earn income from tourists, maybe with templates/pantograph as you say, but maybe just slogging away repetitively. @intothewestaway
