   In today's mastodon.social update we have significantly improved the media overlay in Mastodon's web app. You can double-tap to zoom in and out instead of clicking the 1:1 button, and panning and pinch-to-zoom work a lot smoother on touch devices. You can also finally swipe up or down to close the overlay.

     @Gargron oh! Does that mean I can hide the image associated with a media card when people share a news-site link?

     Getting tired of seeing you-know-who's face in my feed 'cuz it's always there to illustrate each of his crimes. A 'hide' for the image while being able to still read the headline would be great.

     Eager to check out the new feature.

     @Gargron Excellent improvement! I'm wondering if there is keyboard shortcuts like "space" that can control zoom in and out? Because most of time I still use computer to view the web.
