@HatkeshiatorTND @lain they're optimizing for different things, is all. Sometimes you want to optimize for least RAM used, sometimes for least CPU time consumed. Sometimes you care that the application runs quickly and efficiently but other times you care that the application was quick to develop and took as little human time to make as possible. These people are probably optimizing for maximum maintainability of active code. So they do not want any code in the codebase that none of them understands or is willing to maintain. They aren't rejecting the idea behind the change, they're rejecting that specific push request.

@lain it's not nonsensical at all. Zig does not value PRs it values contributors. There is no benefit in a PR made by an LLM since an LLM is not a person who contributes code and therefore is not considered valuable at all by the metric used to evaluate suitability

@MK2boogaloo I'm no expert and I probably know less about it than someone on "free beer extremist" but I think you want your still to be pressurized to about 5psi

if you have a fully-enclosed pressure vessel like that and put a heater under it hot enough to boil the liquid inside the pressure will raise indefinitely until all the liquid has been converted to gas

this can cause the pressure inside the vessel to exceed the wall strength and cause a steam explosion

just because I don't see a blowoff valve doesn't mean one doesn't exist but I don't see one

the blowoff valve would save your life if the primary hole the gas is supposed to escape up became blocked for any reason
