And the rural areas didn't like faggots, or jews, all that much. Most of what was being pumped into American minds landed in metro areas in the beginning then spread like cancer outward. It took a long time for the rural areas to fall.

I loved talking to the really old when I was a kid. I knew a couple in their 90s back then, so born 1880s. Man, talk about completely different perspective, values, beliefs, all that.

When I was a kid in the early 1970s, I was living in upstate NY. Many areas were still rural, and they were still as they were back in the 1920s. Talking to older people, I got to experience what old American culture was, that blend of different European lineages finding common ground. Even in the smaller city I come from, that Old American culture was still there in traces.

To my view, the fall happened rapidly, with now seeing all that Old America obliterated.

This thing some people have that "anyone who ever worked in the military or government ever can never leave or be deprogrammed or make the choice that shit's wrong and is out to get us!" only serves to sow paranoia and fear. It's a mindworm that blocks out reality and makes people froth for no good reason.
Does the government groom or entrap people? Sure! Absolutely! But to draw up the pillow fort and REEE over everything remotely related to the government serves no good purpose, either.
