    Oh boy that sucks. I'm trying to lead by example and run an instance that doesn't do stupid things like that. Think it is doing well. When mods get a taste of power... They become corrupted... You only should moderate when you have no other choice but to... But people people can't help themselves and get addicted and lost... Abusing that power.

    Poast has a lot of operation costs because they are running alot more than the pleroma software.
    Matrix server, poast streaming service, some nitter thing, some youtube thing and so on. Idk.

    Well if the comedy is coming back on twitter... Then it'll be a big L for the fediverse because the fediverse works more like this because instances get offended and defederate. It is not possible for a funny thing to trend on a larger scale.

    So the big three that outpoast had a difficult time doing send offs to were Google, Yahoo/AOL, Hotmail/Outlook. Everybody else it was a fine experience. Proton was significantly quick to fire emails to during our email tests. Just so people can get outpoast accounts.

    Requires alot more time and thought to be considered. I'm completely familiar with the kiwifarms situation and also know one of the people who helped setup tor for kiwifarms. It might be in the cards in the future.

    I think you should send your disgression to Josh over email so he can have a more robust system. No one thought it would be so out of control. As they say generals always fight the last battle "they came from the south, so we must defend the south". They now come from the north, so now he have to change strategy and defend the north"... Only defending what needs to be defended from they believe so with the info that they have.
