     @alex @RustyCrab Trademark and copyright are weird, in that they are protected by enforcement lawsuits. People should use it anyway, and force The Mastodon Software into debt to enforce that trademark.

     im sure the logo can still be trademarked because that is brand recognition, but who cares, he can have the dumb logo

     @alex @RustyCrab This is why no Trademark lawsuit will come to this. He allowed all of Fedi to be called "Mastodon", and now he's trying to suddenly pretend it's no longer a Generic term.
     
     Any C&D or other notice he or his lawyers send out should be responded to in meme only. The Lolsuit would be amazing.
