    @anemone@ebiverse.social @RustyCrab@clubcyberia.co I mean, in my head it's easy, activate omeme/encryption -> send message -> server gets message and relays it -> message arrives. End of story.

    The main issue I have seen is old or shitty clients and misconfiguration on the admin part. If someone uses a good client and the servers he and anyone he communicates with are set up properly it just works.

    iOS and macos users and fucked on regards on the client tho.

    @anokasion@cawfee.club I hate flatpaks on base systems that already have package managers and core utils etc.

    However if they are the main package manager or the main store, like on fedora silverblue I think it is probably the best approach to linux, specially for normies since it works just like the app store of any phone.

    And already has some security that probably is set up correctly if the distro is designed around it.

    Anyway, what are you using now?

    I hate flatpaks, I just want one package manager, if there isn't a package or a binary I just manually build it, if it is a soyware that only has building instructions for docker or flatpak I don't use it.
