In parliamentary systems, you get to vote for your faction and it forms a coalition with other factions in order to rule.

So even if (or in your case, when) you vote for some idiotic fringe, they retain only proportional influence, not rule.

In FpTP, you get two major parties via Divurger’s, and you vote for faction in the primaries but for the party in the general election.

The idea of “lesser evil” is based on the mistaken notion that a system that lets you cast a vote for an extremism is somehow good. Or, worse, that compromise is “evil”.

I’m not a lawyer, not in America, not in Europe, but I would generally recommend not breaking the law and going to prison.

American prisons are full of people who committed drug-related offenses.

These offenses are created by the endless and unwinnable “war on drugs”, which was always conceived as a war on oppressed minorities.

Once you get a young black man convicted of felony drug possession in a red state, you can disenfranchise him indefinitely. This is, for example, why FL is red.

Rape and corruption are not what fill prisons, but they should be.

To be fair, it’s not really about “other people”, but rather all people.

Once you invade foreign land, though, you need a way to perpetuate the distinction between the natives and the invaders, and that’s where racism comes in.

If you look at where racial lines are drawn, it always comes down to invasion. Caste systems are about ensuring that, once you win, you stay on top from now on.

This is why racism is so bothered by “interbreeding”; it blurs the lines that make the system work.

The US started off as a colony, so everything is about colonialism. Colonialism is the motive behind racism and slavery.

Racism exists to justify the European takeover of native lands as well as the enslaving of Africans.
