Oh, that's so strange, when I looked it up before I got a load of commercial links and I was wondering what it was all about. I have just searched again and it's all FOSS stuff. Search is so broken these days.
I STRONGLY advice avoiding purchasing *anything* from paddle.com
I just blocked a network connection from the one item I have from them and next thing I have a Mac OS security alert telling me the app is screenshotting my entire screen - WTAF??? That's a massive privacy violation!
Thankfully I didn't have anything actually private on my screen at the time, but that could have been medical information, a personal email, anything!
Going to wait to see if the app complains about licensing!!
I just put a computer on my credit card, for the princely sum of £72 I have a old 2013 Macbook Air on it's way to me!
It's not anything too powerful, but it will be enough to do email and web with an up to date Linux installation on it.
It will solve a myriad of problems for me, and mean I can take my Macbook Pro offline to keep as a creative machine - it's perfect right now for that so want to preserve it!!
Cool, basically it was much better to eliminate completely rather than try and reduce; sugar is a trigger food, so one means wanting another.
Finding replacements so I still felt like I was treating myself was critical to success. I did posh teas - nice deep dive, loads of flavour and enjoyment to be had for way less than soda can prices per drink - I did the sums and indulged and ended up financially way better off.
Same principle with snacks; nuts, dried fruits are ace!
All seriousness respectfully acknowledged, I live very near a town that floods too so have experienced the devastation first hand, not my own home thankfully - I live high up and it would be a very bad day indeed if I flooded - "Biblical"
Yeah, I forgot about that bit and just replied again with a p.s. lol
I do't think any time with Numbers and accounting is wasted really, it's the lowest common denominator when it comes to handling numbers in a sensible way.
It even exports to Excel if I remember correctly, not that I ever use that feature 😂
