All of this AI crap being shoveled all over creation may push me to go back to a flip phone

I turned off Apple Intelligence and Apple warned me Siri would no longer use the advanced features of Apple Intelligence. Um, if what I’ve experienced with Siri this year is any indication of advanced features I absolutely stand by my decision to turn it off.

Apple has completely fucked up Spotlight on my M2 MacBook Air with this latest update to Sequoia.

For DECADES I have used spotlight to open my apps. Now, spotlight won't go active unless I click on the desktop first and will list everything EXCEPT my applications.

Can someone just TRY firing the Hadron Collider in the opposite direction?

@chris I need to find a Linux laptop I can run kdenlive on so I can edit video while out on the road. I’d like to do that then lay down the cash for an M4 Max MBP

With so many corporate leaders starting to get weird with the whole "Kiss the Mango Ring" shtick, I'm finding myself leaning far away from the corporate backed computing solutions. It's going to take a little while to solve all my computing needs this way, but perhaps this was the kick I needed to knock some sense in my head.
