a few frens have asked why i chose this handle, as with anything, there’s a backstory.

i’d been on fediverse for a while, hopping around kgb/crisis. i ended up becoming exhausted with social interaction and scorched the fedi-earth and went on to live life for a while.

when i came back last year i was speaking with a fellow operator from ctrl-sec, we had a long history of knocking down towel-head accounts and were quite effective in stomping out daesh into oblivion. we were spinning yarn of days of old (circa 2014/2015) when they said, they saw you as an credible threat. i laughed, because i’m mostly harmless but it stuck.

turned out to be a bit edgelord, but it is what it is.

ignoring the edgy bullshit and the lack of tolerance for most people there’s more to me than this silly npc

i’m a scientist, philosopher, author, artist, hacker, and curator of the obscure.

now you know. and knowing is half the battle.

i had a single jab. it made me sweat like a mma fighter on lsd with a high fever. good times. i don't really care about the jab stuff myself. but watching diamond absolutely lose his shit over it has been amazing to watch over the years.

sometimes the world can be boring i guess. nothing like a good conspiracy theory to instill hope that there is something more than mundane dystopia.

ergo why i stopped at one-jab, even though i was a first-responder when people started dropping. i know what it was like on the ground, i called in to med-dir more deaths than i can count, mostly people who were already sick, obese, or had complicated medical histories. i got it a few times, no issues to speak of

people were desperate when they were sick and dying not wanting to get the bug again. so i can understand somewhat people being desperate and not thinking things through.

it's all fun and games until you're putting someone on ecmo in truck at 80mph.

i'm sure there's something to the whole vax thing as far as the lack of studies causing issues post-inoculation. people made choices, up to them to live with the choice i suppose.

you have valid point, but it's up to the individual to determine their operating model. i have a use for a pixel+grapheneos myself but it's not what most people would consider a use-case.
