When there were movies made about newspapers this was abundantly clear. In those though the spunky reporter always won the day.
I'm sure those reporters still exist but the realities of having to just survive on a reporters pay now would certainly have an influence on a them and how hard it is to push to get stories into a resistant media without getting fired.

Good idea. I was on a tidal mooring so it was always spinning. Who knows how many kn miles it did while sitting still.

Indeed. I am not wealthy but I once owned a Dufour Apage, in that size range. An orca attack on that boat would have been horrific.
