     @roygreenhilt Well that's on the inside of the hull, and the water originated outside, so that seems pretty "through"!

     Ah the old cleaning of the log and getting soaked at the same time game.
     I assume you have a dummy sensor to plug the hole while cleaning?

     @saxicola We have a plug. The plug lives in there when we aren't sailing because otherwise the log gets really badly fouled.

     Good idea. I was on a tidal mooring so it was always spinning. Who knows how many kn miles it did while sitting still.

     @saxicola Started out on a tidal mooring back in the day. The 5 knot spring ebbs were always interesting!
