@Gargron it actually was filmed in England I believe tho - but yes the red truck threw me too, never see those here - also the uniform and car of the village officer was weird (the other police were fine) and my only guess for the "postal service" is because Royal Mail didn't agree - not surprising as the postie discusses private mail with people haha. Jackman has some odd accents, but maybe they're character voices for the stories. Great film to watch with the kids tho.

@pixelfed will this sign-in merge accounts? Or do we need to do some sort of migration?

@dansup is the goal that we won't need multiple accounts and that our Mastodon account can also be our Pixelfed account? Because that is great… except how do we then ensure Mastodon focuses on showing the text posts and Pixelfed focuses on the media posts? Or right now is the protocol too limited and we will just see everything everywhere?

@dansup what are the IG import fixes you have planned? Are we likely to have to delete everything and reimport or can it repair what is already imported?

@thomasfuchs have you compared the two protocols yet - wondering how similar in function they are because that will probably determine how easy a bridge would be and how well it could work. I sincerely hope there will be some form of interoperability, but not sure what that would do for casual users who already struggle with the federated nature of Mastodon.

Hoping I get a BlueSky invite soon to give it a go. Would prefer to see Mastodon be the bigger success, or maybe better, a decent level of interoperatability.
