GenX may have tried to hold onto their youth, but Millenials are desperate :D

I really enjoy watching Millenials cringe when the grocery store plays mid 2000s rock.

@binarydigit I keep seeing these ridiculous ads about AI emails, and I'm like... I spend maybe 2 minutes on an email unless it involves having to put in serious technical details that I sure as heck wouldn't let an AI do.

It's such a non usecase.

This variety of "AI" remains a technology in search of a requirement.

I was asked today about the ethics of substack, and where that sort of mid-length article writing could be hosted now...

I just have no answers. So I'm going to #askfedi - where would you do that? Ko-fi perhaps?

@aral That's wild, most of the people I know are by far the most intense critics of the companies they work for.

@HauntedOwlbear I think I'll give it a run with a linux-only steam version, since I already paid my money.

Mostly people have historically purchased our games via Itch and Patreon (over 2x the number via steam), so I may just drive sales the other way.

Buy the windows + linux + osx game on Itch/Gog, get the steam key.

Is there a proper Itch store app on the steamdeck? I know I have mine installed, but I just do it via the steam desktop part.

I'm wondering if it's possible to make a game steamdeck only...

Over my career which spans... too many years... it seems like in *many* cases the worst but better marketed technology has prevailed.

So I often consider the alternatives, especially when dealing with what I perceive as flaws in the prevailing system.

@ryanhoulihan Stuff like this does help me curb my curiosity about iOS. I can't imagine being restricted on something like that.
