@phillip Definitely the latter, plus Codeberg is sometimes subject to going down due to DDOS or malicious attacks to no fault of their own. So I think it's nice to have your repos somewhere as a backup!

@phillip After I move his site (maybe just throw it up via Netlify without the GitHub integration) I'll use Codeberg since I don't have any serious projects https://codeberg.org/BinaryDigit I also have a Gitea instance via the 32bit Cafe if I needed.

If I was a dev for my day job or needed it for an actual portfolio I'd host Forgejo on PikaPods or similar.
