@skinnylatte this is better than them loving Panda Express.

@skinnylatte and my kid had a dozen college friends from Singapore whose reaction to CRAsians was ‘ we drive by that (admittedly decent) food market to a better one’… and now I want to go to both.

A new post from @skinnylatte on their parents? Cool, what are they up to today?

@skinnylatte crushing, eye-opening. Thanks for sharing this. It’s a ludicrous and indefensible idea, that addiction is a capital crime. Of course, as I write this, we’ve got states declaring ‘being an illegal’ merits e̶n̶s̶l̶a̶v̶e̶m̶e̶n̶t̶ life imprisonment (w/no parole).

@skinnylatte Sonoma region, where it’ll be cool but plants are starting to bud out. Vineyards aren’t crowded/busy, so one can visit them at a slow pace.
Screw the few square miles ablaze: SoCal.
Or for slight so-cal empathy: San Diego or Joshua Tree or similar, beyond LA.

@dalias @ifixcoinops set, no. Draw a personal line, swear at those that defy, etc., yes. And definitely scold the fuckers that @ you without respecting cw ground rules.

@skinnylatte hmm… mine are boring a.f. by comparison: potatoes, venison, basic baked goods (bread, rolls, kuchen).
Sean Sherman (siouxchef) is not wrong about white folks having 1001 international flavors but virtually nothing native to where we’re living.

@mekkaokereke sounds like the usual sea of people who can’t tell the difference between correlation and causation.

@evan then let me ask, with the deepest of respect for your contributions here, what probative value, what actionable lesson is there in your comparison? To me, your survey generates heat, not light.

@evan seems the only useful question is whether she’s better than the other candidate.

@ashleygjovik and it’s quite bad that they seem to mislabel hazmat repeatedly. Rcra expressly is hard on cradle-to-grave documentation because we can forensically reconstruct some aspects of pollution if a partner on the feed side says ‘we sold them 100 gallons of solvent’, and another on the waste disposal says ‘nuh-uh, we only got 80 gallons, and they said it was benign wastewater’, aka the goes-intas and the goes-outas.
