@stavvers I saw Bluesky's automated moderation hide a picture of the Vitruvian Man as being adult content - it really is quite ... enthusiastically prudish.
@wakame@thstockinger@futurebird@glyph@log@mcc My dreaming brain comes up with entirely new, enormously complex apartments for me to have been living in - occasionally with some tenuous similarity to my real flat.
One time my brain created a never-ending, nonsensical sprawl of gorgeously 1960s-styled, interconnected apartments - and I was part of an archaeological expedition in full hazmat gear, trying to find some faint trace of actual human occupation...
(If you've got access to original hardware, Owlet's got an audio export thingy which might be handy, saving a bit of typing. I'd love to see a photo of the poor Electron doing its stuff - I *think* the program will work unmodified?)
@thomasfuchs I've been resizing photos to the maximum pixel dimensions Mastodon accepts prior to posting, so the server isn't doing its own, poor quality resampling.
Obviously doesn't fix the underlying issues, but it avoids the horrendous, additional smearing of high-frequency detail.
Basic notes: 2.0 megapixels maximum, JPEG with highest possible quality - Mastodon will still recompress the image, but *not* resample it.
(4K OLED display here, so yeah - I see the problems...)
Chose a terrible time to be less of a massive introvert. He/Him, British, in Seattle.Space, biology, archaeology, anatomy, technology, and all sorts of other random esoteric things I'm interested in...
