It seems to work, but I don't see any Markdown formatted messages in the wild, only test messages.

A negative side effect of enabling this is that some plain text messages are missing line breaks, for example messages with ASCII art or the lists by @fediverseobserver .

Maybe this doesn't completely explain #Meta's interest in joining the Fediverse, but it might at least add to it!

@apps What would you think of a #QuoteBoost action like that in @elk for #Fedilab? It's just a combined Boost and Reply so that the timestamp of the reply is very close to the boost's timestamp. Even if these entries aren't displayed a a thread in the timeline, I would love that the reply would immediately follow the boost even in crowded timelines.
