@Mastodon Thank you for taking these concerns seriously. But rather than just focusing on the TOS verbiage, you should also scrutinize the people involved in creating them, as their values do not seem aligned with the community’s.

@Gargron I deleted my Facebook account ages ago (and therefore also Instagram), and more recently Twitter as well. I’ve eliminated Google from my life with the exception of Gmail and YouTube.i do not sign up for any websites or services using SSO. I do not use Chrome or any Chromium-based web browsers and I use ad blockers to virtually eliminate all advertising and most tracking from my web activity. I use Archive.is to break through paywalls.

Also love that if you take away all of the company's false promises about full self driving and the degree to which their stock valuation is dependent on Elon's hype, analysts place the company's real value at about 1/10 of where they are.
