I used to make protein smoothies back when I was into powerlifting: 1 cup of milk, a handful of ice cubes, a banana, a few strawberries, and a little Stevia to sweeten it up a bit, and instead of using some kind of meathead junk goyslop protein powder, I cracked open a half dozen eggs for around 40 grams of high quality protein. I drank 2 a day when I was hitting the weights hard. They taste great and I grew like a weed.
