I worked a construction day labor job once and we were carrying 2x4s to the basement of a new house build. This skinny kid picked up way too many 2x4s. I told him he was gonna hurt himself (lifted with his back). The boss heard me say it, and he yelled at me. The skinny kid looked at me like I was a pussy. I didn’t come back the next day.
I bet that kid’s back is all fucked up these days.
