sim@shitposter.club's status on Thursday, 18-Aug-2022 04:26:42 JST sim @galena Still hard to wrap my head around this one.
I think we've perhaps forgotten that it is normal to be somewhere between feminine and masculine, to take on the traits as necessary too. Does that mean we should really stop identifying with our biological sex? -

sim@shitposter.club's status on Friday, 19-Aug-2022 03:41:17 JST sim @Antiquixotic I do wonder if there is some element of that right now. They've made being 'cis' a dirty word. I wonder how many people just don't feel comfortable being considered as normal or not putting a label on themselves and so now they feel the need to be considered trans or other labels now. I also wonder if it has been expanded upon.
I mean, what is wrong with women having more active interests or preferring to wear trousers for comfort and still being women and likewise with men in their interests and such?
Still can't believe the idea of boys liking flowers as a consideration for them to be called girls. Do they not realise that wealthy men made it a habit to collect and categorise flowers, to create gardens for them to walk in over it? Ornamental and landscaping was a thing. -

sim@shitposter.club's status on Friday, 19-Aug-2022 03:51:49 JST sim @galena Makes sense. It doesn't make sense to call yourself trans unless you are transitioning to something. I've just been myself with all my flaws so none of the labels really feel like they fit. I even look at a lot of people around me, in the media, etc... and I don't want to be them. I don't see most people as good role models. But I do see a lot of trauma or people trying to cope with everyday life, often in ways that aren't really healthy for them. And our environment doesn't really help matters. -

sim@shitposter.club's status on Friday, 19-Aug-2022 04:01:08 JST sim @iceloops Yeah. It's a difficult one. We can easily get fixated on something that we think of as being imperfect. It is worrying that people think they can fix this with things like surgery though.
In some ways, I think it is easier to cope if you think that you can't fix it. If you don't get consumed in feeling helpless over it. But learn to accept it as a part of you that is out of your control. Then re-focus on the things that are within your control. A lot of our physical appearance is out of our hands, we just have to make the most of what we have. This is more difficult for some than for others. -

sim@shitposter.club's status on Friday, 19-Aug-2022 04:12:03 JST sim @angryandignored Ah, I think that I can sort of understand it where surgery is concerned. It is a shame that even some non-binary people feel like they need or want to change their bodies. I would have hoped that not neatly fitting into being a man or a woman would leave them to feel like they wouldn't need to transition or fit in with the stereotypes. That they could just be as they are, even if a bit eccentric. -

It's a status game.
Also if you want messed up surgery where you're left with no nipples or one than one thing where genitals originally were.
It's designed to be confusing to lull you into a sense of submissive observation to try and pick up what all these randomly made words mean.
It doesn't make sense. It makes money. -

sim@shitposter.club's status on Friday, 19-Aug-2022 04:36:39 JST sim @iceloops Why do you want to transition?
Honestly, I don't think we get to escape this. Over time, we will grow and change, and our ideas of our self will change with the experiences that we have. I don't think there is any easy fix. I don't think we get to change a part of ourselves and not have that come back to us at some point. Especially with permanent changes. If you have BDD, you will need to do more.
"People with BDD represent 2.4 percent of the population but 13 percent of cosmetic surgery patients. And they may not be the right patients for a procedure. “Because BDD is a body image disorder, cosmetic treatments aren’t very likely to fix the problem,” Weingarden says.
Patients often take a few different paths, she explains. They may find a new troubling feature to fixate on, sparking a cycle of fixation and surgery. They may feel more distressed, because the change failed to deliver the expected infusion of self-esteem. They may feel at fault, because they’ve now made a conscious choice in designing the face they so detest. Eighty-one percent of people with BDD who get cosmetic treatments are either “dissatisfied” or “very dissatisfied” with the outcome."
Anyway, it is worth thinking over before making any changes and realising that the surgery itself won't make you feel better. You have to do the work to process it all yourself. This realisation is where I am at. -

angryandignored (angryandignored@spinster.xyz)'s status on Friday, 19-Aug-2022 04:59:26 JST angryandignored @sim You misunderstand.
Sometimes it's a sexual fetish, where a man literally wants a hole put into him as a penis receptacle.
Sometimes it's a way for a woman who's a lesbian to avoid harassment because saying she's a lesbian will have her end up sexually harassed by men who wish to have their lesbian fetish satisfied.
Sometimes it's a way for a man or woman to feel like they're happing on a trend.
Sometimes it's done for a career move.
Sometimes it's because someone was super into the idea of cutting up their genitals and already took a bunch of wrong sex hormones but they realized that they were motivated by a sexual fetish or self hatred and are trying to back track from the trans concept.
There's a whole lot going on here.
It's also a way to sell shitty surgeries by predatory doctors.
These surgeries could be a way to mark a sex trafficking victim to humiliate them.

You can't understand. When enough people understand a new identity title will be promoted to justify insane medical experimentation (except it's not actually an experiment because there's no control groups) and more word games to shut out the nonbelievers.
Don't try to understand. Instead see how Erza Miller basically groomed and trafficked a 13 year old girl once she was 18 and used the concept of "nonbinary" to push people around to the point of ridiculousness.

Whether it's simply creating confusing words or destroying healthy, functional body parts, the destruction of meaning behind words can be a whole lot of creepy and dangerous than a simple wish of someone to find inner peace by asking for everyone to "respect it even if they can't understand it." -

sim@shitposter.club's status on Friday, 19-Aug-2022 04:59:26 JST sim @angryandignored I think you are right, it is all rather confusing. There are so many different ways that this can happen. Trying to be understanding and accepting can be dangerous for us, it can erode our own boundaries and understanding of the world. It can put us at risk because of who we are in contact with for these things. I definitely cannot keep up with all the new labels that people use, the labels that are trending at a given moment. But these things are brushed aside, erased and ignored as concerns. Or you are made to feel like the bad one for needing to protect yourself.
Thanks for the extra information. The world does seem pretty screwed up. -

angryandignored (angryandignored@spinster.xyz)'s status on Friday, 19-Aug-2022 20:02:19 JST angryandignored @sim This religions specifically is pretty screwed up.
Unlike other religions, it was started by pedophilic men.
Please see the history of John Money:
https://reduxx.info/john-money-the-pervert-who-invented-gender/
Please see why the concept of gender dysphoria was changed in the DSM:
https://reduxx.info/top-trans-medical-association-collaborated-with-castration-child-abuse-fetishists/
Please see who took the word "cis" from use in chemistry and applied it to people to try and legitimize grown adults sexually fetishizing themselves as the opposite sex:
https://reduxx.info/cis-coined-by-pedosexual-physician/
The average person comes across someone saying "trans/cis/nonbinary" and doesn't know the men who created these words.
They come across "queer" and have never read Gayle Rubin's "Thinking Sex" which praises NAMBLA and advocates for "cross generations relationships (aka pedos).
https://sites.middlebury.edu/sexandsociety/files/2015/01/Rubin-Thinking-Sex.pdf
They just want to self express and basically on the lower levels of this, they treat it like it's a horoscope, including a lot of tweens and teens who're trying to figure themselves out with language before actions and don't understand the connections of language to actions.
However, there are a lot of chronically online people who're convinced that recognizing sexed bodies is a cardinal sin but cartoon furry porn isn't and now they've done stuff like yell at an 80 women for using the woman's change room in the YMCA in Port Townsend and not wanting a male staff member in there who's able to "supervise" little girls taking their swim suits off.
https://reduxx.info/senior-women-heckled-during-rally-for-single-sex-locker-rooms-at-community-pool/
I've personally dealt with some horrific consequences of the erasure of sexed language and I'm very tired.
Whenever I think of "nonbinary" people I think of a specific lawyer who I hate, as she is riddled with guilt but also literally advocating for male rapists to be placed in holding cells in women's spaces because to her gender is god and king and so, so, so much more important that making sure rapists rape less and isn't that great? -

angryandignored (angryandignored@spinster.xyz)'s status on Friday, 19-Aug-2022 20:02:19 JST angryandignored @sim Sorry if your day got wrecked by this information.
I have been left disturbed by the medical profiteering and the psychological impacts of witnessing an individual deal with the after effects of castration in a women's only space.
Being able to communicate is important. Words have meanings. When people destroy those meanings in policy and law it is very different than when people play socially with them for fun or as a coping mechanism.
However, corporations (social media) have willingly encouraged the destruction of words in the name of profit.
You can see this by how the CEO of tumblr left to go work with planned parenthood who now are handing out hormones to children and young adults: https://www.forbes.com/sites/clareoconnor/2017/03/16/74-tech-leaders-led-by-tumblr-ceo-karp-urge-congress-to-back-planned-parenthood/?sh=aea40a6262cc
This is not a good peace loving religion, even if a few people on the lower levels use it that way.
This is a castration cult that is basically consenting eugenics. The people who're the loudest and who risk the least end up viscously supporting those who sacrifice their health and body in the name of an idea and then abandon them when if their faith is shattered by the result while those who still believe spurn others. Those who profit will never admit there's any fault in their gender god, it must always be with the people.
