    @Flick We have two kids, 10 and 16. He doesn’t want to shake his reputation and is afraid of losing a lot of our life and routines together. Not seeing the kids through daily activities. We’re in a small town and we are renting a home from my dad.

    @Flick It will likely be quite amicable. We’re still living together at the moment. No one knows yet, it just sunk in. I want to be smart on moving forward. He’s a bit in denial about it. Of course he wants to immediately start sleeping with other women as we do a slow separation, which made me want to expedite it all the more. He’ll be kinda angry when he realizes I want to move faster than he does.

    @Flick Probably, yes. Eventually living next door to each other so our lives will be intertwined. We’ve been together 20 years, we hold each other’s history at this point.

    I’m writing up what I’m calling a “female study course” which is basically information covering all of things my daughters must know as females in the world we live. Please tell me any topics you think should be included in such a course of study. Some topics ideas: feminism and its history, gender identity, female biology (menstruation, pregnancy, menopause), sexuality, rape, patriarchy. Thank you!

    @alex “-cello” is a diminutive suffix in Italian, so you couldn’t use it in its own for “little.” And, “-one” is an augmentative suffix. So “violone” would mean large violin, then “ello” is added to make it a little smaller: violoncello.
