One thing leads to another...I was listening to a podcast which was discussing all sorts of "crazy" connections, I found it interesting that a person, Norris Bradbury, was chosen by Oppenheimer to take over his work in New Mexico, was the subject of a study Stanford IQ/ Eugenics program on gifted children. In addition, the son of that researcher became an engineer and a dean of Engineering, and later provost at Stanford. He became known as the founder of Silicon Valley and it was his work on obtaining grants from the Department of Defense that "helped to catapult Stanford into the ranks of the world's first class educational institutions." His advisor at Stanford was Vannevar Bush of Raytheon and the Manhattan Project, among many other endeavors. "In the mid-1990s, Bradbury accidentally hit his leg while chopping firewood. Gangrene set in, and his right leg was amputated below the knee. I was thinking in the case of a gruesome axe wound you'd probably get given several tetanus injections 'just to be sure'. It always puzzled me why the insistence on tetanus boosters after any minor gash or wound. I think it’s over prescribed, but mostly out of fear of lawsuit. Rabies “vaccine“ is different IMO since it’s an old type vax with dead viruses instead of something Frankensteinian. I haven’t seen anything convincing about rabies treatment alternatives either. -

Basically the only people who get the rabies vaccine are people who get bit by animals constantly, like veterinarians and such, because the most reliable test for rabies requires killing the animal and that would empty out zoos/keep people from taking their pet to the veterinarian/endanger animal control officers who might not capture the animal that bit them. rabies vax efficacy is even shorter in duration and the cases are even more rare.
according to CDC there are millions of animal bites per year and most don’t get treated with rabies shots.
So where are the rabies cases outside of testing positive for rabies?
Further, look into the “science” of rabies and you find a horror show of drilling into animal skulls and other nightmarish medical voodoo.
Lastly, I have had conversations with a person who was director of an animal sacnctuary in Botswana, and he told me he never saw a case of rabies and doesn’t believe it even exists -

Because rabies is rare, so even though they'll kill animals to test them when practical or when they haven't been under observation for very long, the chance of transmission is low. Most of those 6 gorillion animal bites are from dogs and cats, and in the vast majority of cases they can find out if the animal has been acting funny/locate the animal. Those 100,000 vaccines are from people who were bit by things like raccoons, or by animals who were acting strangely, when the animal couldn't be captured. @Zardoz @branman65 @ILoveBlueSky @sam_harris Rabies has been my bulwark against being conceptually “anti-vax”. I’m aware that the primitive rabies vaccines used in the third world are very dangerous. I will try to find primary sources from a while back that discuss rabies. As for its low prevalence, from what I remember the main reservoir is bats. Increased electric lighting, modern building techniques, general deforestation would be reasons for a reduced battery encounters today. They’ve also done tag and release programs against animals known to be vector (raccoons) and near universal vaccination of dogs and cats. For an animal to spread rabies per the book, it would have to be exposed to it and not die in the encounter, so going for intermediate sized omnivores and predators seems to make sense. I could see those strategies making sense as a preventive measure to reduce contact.
You probably know the mechanism of how it’s supposed to work, so no need to beat that dead horse. I have to reading to do on rabies (again). -

I didn’t think to consider other areas besides political until I had them challenged by others. I like reading health and science stuff, and exposure to other ideas here has been pretty eye opening. It sort of reminds me of when I first took a step out of conventional politics. -

They publish the efficacy rates and it’s barely above placebo or has a wild range of efficacy (10-55%) with incredibly low confidence ratings in the data. Not to mention the proposed mechanism – if it actually worked as it’s supposed to and everybody got it, you’d just artificially select out for a different strain of flu and make the vaccine worthless.
2017-2018 Season Efficacy Rates:

They have to massage those numbers to get any efficacy at all (see Cochrane Review). i believe the efficacy is actually NEGATIVE.
The thing you need to understand is that the whole mythology is so bad, that even making the cogent argument you are making, you accidentally affirm much of the mythology.
RNA virology is the worst. It is basically pure fraud.
Here are some conceits within your very reasonable and logical argument that you cannot just pass over.
1) there is a “flu virus” and it has a specific sequence or structure (H1N1 for example) which makes it cause flu—and that this sequence moves around the world.
2) Causality of “the flu” (whatever that is) is fully established.
3) Antibodies are correlate of immunity.
4) specific antibodies are for specific diseases—we can see what those antibodies are, and therefore know the disease.
