@draeath @killyourfm With TV companies, I always assume the worst. Never been disappointed. I mean, they literally said something along the lines of "noone expects privacy in front of their TV" when they introduced always-on microphone and cameras in those devices.

@killyourfm I have an LG TV, and NEVER EVER opened the Netflix app AT ALL.
It still tried to talk to Netflix ALL THE FUCKING TIME.

Nicely, LG allowed me to uninstall the NetFlix application. It's quiet now.

Es ist mal wieder so weit, meine Frau hat unserer Tochter (7) eigenstaendig eine Smartwatch zu Weihnachten versprochen. Immerhin "darf" ich noch ein Wort mitsprechen, WELCHE Uhr es werden soll.

Gesucht ist also: Armbanduhr fuer Kinder mit Anruffunktion und Uhrzeit, und sonst so wenig wie moeglich.

Bislang gefunden habe ich die Anio 6 https://anio.eu/products/anio6-kids-smartwatch die tatsaechlich nicht verkehrt aussieht.

Andere Vorschlaege? Die Frage des "ob" ist wohl vorbei.

@ark74 Long story short, I used Mint with Sugarizer.
The installer lacks upower and fails to start on my laptop, the rtl8723 won't work ootb, and even with firmware added I couldnt make a WiFi connection from inside of Sugar.

After a bit of back and forth I have now found that you can run a terminal from sugar and install locales there. That'll be what I'm going with!

Okay, I tried four different Sugar / Trisquel Live System.
- Fedora SoaS
Languague settings broken, Modem Settings broken
- Triquel-Sugar
English only, can't find how to install more languages
- Trisquel-Mini
Just a live system without any functionality related to Sugar
- Triskel
Equally lacking any Sugar-related functionality

Seems Good this thing.

@youronlyone My primary goal is keeping my calorie deficit up. I've lost 15 kg in almost 2 years and I'm going for another 10, then I'll be below 100 kg (which I realize is just a psychological barrier).

My secondary goal is to be able to run for 1 hour without a break or recovery walk in between. 40 minutes is where I'm at right now, a year ago it wasn't even 5 minutes.

@youronlyone I'm not disappointed at all! I'm happy I could do it again, but damn if it wasn't just as difficult as last time 😅 I was kinda hoping for it to become at least a little bit easier.

Knowing you can do something because you have done it before does not make doing it again any easier.

Ran 5km in 37:11, and 5.8km in 44:08.

Again ran the whole 5km with only a few seconds break at a red traffic light.

Bei den Floßen gibt es ein eigenes Floß für Rolli-Fahrer.
Und die Menschen die dort arbeiten waren wieder einmal super freundlich! Und man hat nicht das Gefühl "professioneller Freundlichkeit".

Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

@feld I wasn't around for the pleroma thing, but the 4.2.0 search will be opt in, meaning that a user must activate their profile to be searchable. Was that the case with pleroma?
