I've actually been told this a few times. I pull a lotta crap. My particular flavors of Spectrum and Lifestyle prohibit a "Normal" life by most people's standards.

It was funny as hell.
And they (same company) had the hookup for really good weed and hooked an Elf with a solid half-O to keep me chill (I was moving them from a Tier4 Data Center (anyone remember Exodus?) in San Jose to (Ghetto CoLo) in San Francisco (for bandwidth reasons). Not a bad start to a gig.

So yeah, they got me high, and I moved their back-end.

I'll just set that there.

Blatantly violating every Data Center rule was pretty ballsy (and funny a hell).

I lived working for Adult Content providers.

* The work is just Systems and Storage, easy enough.
* They pay Really, Really well.
* They pay on time.

- Sales Guy at one, found an old Dell Server box and used it to sneak in a shitload of sandwiches, 6 pack beer, fruit juice, coffee (real), chips and salsa/guac (they heard it was my favorite), and handed me gift certificates for Starbucks $50, Gordon Bierch $100 because I was pulling 32h solid. Much amused.
