If the majority of people are struggling to make a life for themselves because a #wealthy minority and their #neoliberal, #capitalist, managerial class are hoarding resources, you get the #voting results you see in #Europe.

As a result, lip service goes nowhere. Equally ineffective: fear mongering, insulting, and 🙈 🙉 🙊 voters’ grievances.

On that point, I am reminded of what #FDR said regarding #democracy being sacrificed for #fascism.

Or maybe it would accelerate killing accountability for the wealthy, powerful, and their corporations. Having no context or history is easier for their currency of choice: impunity.
