Andrew Koenig wrote the book "C Traps and Pitfalls" and did the same recursive page number mentioning in the index. His book is from 1988/1989, and the second edition by Kernighan & Ritchis is from those years too.

@lizmat and I have been domain registrars for 30 years this year. Last year we stopped being an official .nl domain registrar, and outsourced it. SIDN (Stichting Internet Domeinregistratie Nederland = Foundation Domain Registry NLD) became ridiculously expensive, but mostly they made new bureaucratic rules, and developed new stupid software systems that were increasingly difficult to use.

And now they just oursource it to Amazon. It's like we told Russia "do our gas".

I should not have read your cartoon just before going to bed. Local time for me now is 01:45. Now I am reading about insomnia. And the Dutch wikipedia page about insomnia ("Slapeloosheid"; literally: "sleeplessness"). Sleep medicine. Daytime sleepiness. Delayed sleep phase disorder. It goes on and on. Thank you. Nice cartoon!
