I've always said the Ring doorbells are a terrible idea. I've always looked crazy saying it so a ring doorbell has been installed on this house (despite my protests) and most houses up and down the street. Nobody listens to me but I feel validated when they reveal their plans like this.

These people who have lost their lives should not have lost them and there's no justifying any of it.

There's a really nice non-binary person who teaches some laughter yoga classes around my area. I ended up going to one by accident and it was actually the most fun I've had in a while. I think I will go to another one again some time. It sounds completely insane but you end up doing things that are so harmless but so stupid that you end up asking,"wtf am I doing? wtf is life rn?", and the laughter becomes real. Your walls come down and you just end up laughing at how ridiculous things are.

Occasionally they do classes for people to becom instructors...it sure would be nice to change my career... I wonder if I could hack it...making people laugh. 🤔

I would very much like a more positive career, perhaps I could dive into the next classes and see what sticks. I would love to make more people laugh tbh, it feels good and is great for mental health but I think you have to come at it with an open mind.

I see people on the news gawking about what has happened in #Jamaica , Cuba, Haiti, the Carribbean but my feeds on fedi have been really reslly quiet about this issue and I haven't seen any fund raising links or anything much.

As a descendant of Jamaican diaspora I've gotta share it around. Does anyone have any genuine fundraising links I can boost?

Edit: I have been provided with somes links to fundraisers, please boost. Jamaica has never had to deal with a category 5 hurricane until now. It's getting worse.

@ra6bit this is what people try to point out when they also talk about covert racism and other forms of oppression. Things suddenly go missing, take longer to do, are overlooked or completed in an inadequate way all for whatever reason someone can muster.

Seeing to happen to an oppressor would be a sight indeed!

@psiie I’m a trans fella with endometriosis and I would never hang that pain over someone else and make them feel bad about not having that level of pain. It’s debilitating and it’s not something that should be wished upon anyone and despite that it is not to say that other struggles and pain are not valid! You all have your own experiences with your bodies and they have no right to make you feel like shit because your experience is not the same as theirs. It’s pretty pathetic that people would measure validity with pain. Trans women can get PMS and have their own periods too, it’s just ignorance.

They need to keep themselves to themselves or learn to understand and be supportive. Some cis women can be a bit shit with each other about their periods and ranking who has it worse depending on who you talk to, women on women bullying sucks.

Eye contact doesn't normally make me uncomfortable but this pooch does...
