    @splitshockvirus @NEETzsche The blackpill is that "dark fedi" is majorly filled with obnoxious and annoying people. Maybe just as bad as the "other side" of fedi. Theres a few specific people who make fedi their whole personality and care way too much about meta but im not naming names.

    It feels like its an asylum. I cant blame people for getting bored

    @RustyCrab @binkle @blaaablaaaa @bot I'm not saying CS is a useless degree lol.. but it's just the easiest thing to self teach yourself that since we have open source junk, books, web guides, and all that. So I self taught myself a bunch of that shit, and got a ton of extra experience with projects. (the downside is i slacked off in high school classes but that didnt matter because high school is pretty pointless outside of maybe maths or something for me)

    CE is harder to self teach because there is a lot more equipment you'll need that is often pricey. It's also generally harder I hear, but I think it will pay off, and it will give me a MUCH better understanding of how hardware, drivers, operating systems work besides just basic one and zero level

    Seems like what i'm more interested in, so i'll look more into it.

    @blaaablaaaa @RustyCrab @binkle @bot I literally haven't learned ANYTHING new from CS because I spent all my high school years sperging out with it instead.

    Everything CS you can really just learn from just reading books and the internet. I am not kidding about this. The classes and on-campus stuff hardly equate to anything.

    At that point I am wasting my time with the classes when I could be doing more hands on stuff at college. There's nothing "hands on" with CS however, you just fuckin use your computer.
