- Embed this notice@RustyCrab @binkle @blaaablaaaa @bot I'm not saying CS is a useless degree lol.. but it's just the easiest thing to self teach yourself that since we have open source junk, books, web guides, and all that. So I self taught myself a bunch of that shit, and got a ton of extra experience with projects. (the downside is i slacked off in high school classes but that didnt matter because high school is pretty pointless outside of maybe maths or something for me)
CE is harder to self teach because there is a lot more equipment you'll need that is often pricey. It's also generally harder I hear, but I think it will pay off, and it will give me a MUCH better understanding of how hardware, drivers, operating systems work besides just basic one and zero level
Seems like what i'm more interested in, so i'll look more into it.
