What I'm thinking is that the more connected a system is, the more points of failure it has.

Like be it, software libraries, hardware components, people, signal relay points, etc.

The more complicated the machine is, the sooner it breaks.

That would work, starnix.network resolves, mstdn.starnix.network does not (they both are the same IP).

I could migrate to say fedibird.starnix.network, but I would need to tell my users to move, or CNAME or do some activity:migrate something or other. But it's a pain and ultimately an undue hardship imposed on me for literally no reason.

I could do all that, and they run a website sweep again (just because) and I get blocked again. There's literally no winning.
