For those outside mainland USA (or just not in the know), what is the tie up?

Why is it the wind has to increase just when I think it’s ok to retire for the night…
According to zoom.earth, it is 50% stronger than 3hrs ago. Staying awake seems better than waking to the room shaking, and not in the room facing the wind.
So much for the forecast that indicated the wind wasn’t going to increase from here. I do hope the 6am end of the #StrongWindWarning is correct though! I might need to sleep tomorrow, rather than work ?
