   Frustrating start to the day. The Lancet puts out a study saying one in three women are likely to experience long-term health problems caused by childbirth. MedicalXpress publishes a release (https://medicalxpress.com/news/2023-12-women-health-problems-birth.html).

   None of the wires cover it — not Reuters, not AFP, not AP, not Bloomberg.

   One in three women is (roughly) one on six members of the human race. No major news agency thinks long-term health issues affecting one in six people matter.

     So all pregnancies pose a health risk to pregnant persons, meaning the person should have the choice as to whether to take that risk.
