@tk my opinion based on rider testimonials, is yes. Itโs a big purchase with alot of variation tho. The physical helites are what Iโm looking at.

@evan Best of luck!
After having one flight cancelled due to a winter storm hitting the eastern seaboard, I booked another. That one had a de-icing delay, then had three aborted landing attempts at Midway, which has a barely long enough runway that must be kept clear of all snow for big jets to land.
After the third aborted landing, which results in a very dramatic full-throttle blast off, we had to fly to Milwaukee, refuel, and then de-ice yet again before heading back to Midway where the snow had slowed enough for the plows to keep up.
I was so very grateful once in my cab, crossing Chicago and getting home with a quiet blanket of snow on the ground. Winter travel is still always an adventure.

@evan went with strong yes, since we're running off our rootftop solar and pay for 100% of our energy from Green Mountain Power with their renewable energy rider -- aka, they buy RECs to offset non-renewable energy in their mix.
If you are grid attached, which I think is the best approach, you are going to have to rely upon accounting with REC purchases to get "clean".
It is a foundational truth, IMO, that this is a social system issue, and not an individual consumer issue. I do what i do to make the whole grid more reliable and to add more renewables to the mix for me and my neighbors -- not to clear my conscience.

@laprice @evan depends upon the project and what your accounting for in your lifecycle analysis. Here in the northeast we are getting alot of our power from Quebec. There are real social, political and colonial concerns:
I think that it is considered a critical path for carbon emission reduction, behind only wind and nuclear:

@manu @evan this sounds like something a client could do for you, making that nav to original server and back and connected that state much easier. I already see some mastidon web uis have improved means to do this, perhaps tracking your initial referrer to construct the links back to your instance
