   I really need to stop assuming that most developers have a mental model of DNS delegation in their head.

     @craigbro yeah, there's lots of cultural contexts, but I constantly assume that things that make The Internet Work are default skills tech people have.

     @silverwizard i find myself expanding that a little bit, having to remember that not all devs “grew up” as system/network admins.
