How do you deal with GUI apps? I've been using VMs and containers for a while now, and VMs seem like the only way to run GUI apps.

That's in-state tuition. It requires that you already be a resident of the state of California. Do you know how expensive it is to live in California?

Minor nitpick: It's actually the #lede that was buried, not the #lead. A very common misconception, but still worth knowing the difference.

Why Do We 'Bury the Lede?'
We buried 'lead' so far down that we forgot how to spell it

I'm a little confused about how a not-for-profit can be allowed to have a for-profit subsidiary. Seems completely out-of-line with the entire purpose of not-for-profit organizations.
No, I never donate to anything I haven't thoroughly investigated first, and I haven't looked into Mozilla lately, though it sounds like I would probably not like what I found if I did.

Can you explain what you mean by a for-profit not-for-profit? Those seem like mutually exclusive attributes.

@evan You seriously want me to list all of the games I play? Why don't you just indicate which games you're talking about? Then I'll tell you whether I play them to win, or for fun.

@evan Depends on the game. Which game are we talking about?

I went with qualified no because I think we should get to choose which (if any) of our ancestors deserve our veneration.

For example, some of my ancestors were horse thieves, and the surname from that part of the family is a pseudonym that helped them evade law enforcement. No veneration there.

But some of my other ancestors did amazing things in their lives, like fighting Nazis, researching infectious diseases, and building schools in Africa. Definitely veneration-worthy.
