@amerika@wjmaggos well there's some nice-to-have vs what actually will happen but i believe announcing concepts is required to ensure other viewpoints are heard. the biggest one for me is the reduction of taxes and gov't yet "Reward the good, punish the bad, ignore those in the middle". just not sure who's the arbiter of who's "good" and who's "bad". sounds like a morality conflict which requires consensus, which starts to nip at the other items in the list (i.e. culture, tradition)
@amerika@wjmaggos just mean there seems to be some conflicts in the list, maybe its a "nice-to-have" list vs a what will actually happen list. i can't say much cuz if no one voiced their "nice-to-have" list, the result will be quite... shit.
@wjmaggos@amerika nah gotta say you are off track here. i do the same thing. if i ask the question, ppl ignore me. if i state something that isn't right, ppl jump on me to correct me. its just human nature so stating something drives feedback. that being the case, stating something drives developing a thesis further.
no one person knows all answers so we have to discuss together for the more truthful answer. if one can't agree with discourse then that person is being manipulated.
@amerika@wjmaggos why so? all forms of gov't lead to oligarchy unless there is a final arbiter? i guess an advanced technocracy is just another oligarchy?
@book@wjmaggos@amerika completely makes sense. and a true democracy is just mob rule, which is back to oligarchy (those who pull the strings of the mob).
so assuming monarchy is the answer, how does a society ensure the monarchy doesn't operate like an oligarchy. honestly seems like its inevitable as the oligarchy uses its power to gain and retain control.
really seeming like its a morality vs power issue which no law can prevent.
@MrMaxPowers247@RoboftheVolcano@Autumn both sides of the debate are being controlled. i second that this should be appended to promotion posts about Elon.
